Job Summary

A healthcare company has an open position for a Telecommute Utilization Management Care Advocate.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Performing utilization management, utilization review, or concurrent review of behavioral health admissions and continued stay
• Ensuring that behavioral health care services provided are medically necessary, per standard guidelines
• Ensuring that behavioral health care services are provided in the most appropriate setting

Required Skills:

• Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field, or registered psychiatric nurse
• Active, unrestricted, independent license in a behavioral health field or RN
• 3+ years post-licensure clinical experience in a related behavioral health environment
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
