Job Summary
A health insurance company has a current position open for a Telecommute Utilization Management Care Advocate.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Performing utilization management, utilization review, or concurrent review of behavioral health admissions
- Determining appropriateness of inpatient and outpatient services
- Ensuring that health care services provided are medically necessary
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Live within a commutable distance of one of the office locations
- Master's in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Marriage or Family Counseling, or Ph.D., or RN
- Licenses must be active and unrestricted in the State of Missouri
- 2+ years of post education: Masters experience in a related mental health environment
- Proficient Microsoft Office Applications with the ability to navigate between multiple systems
