Job Summary
A staffing agency is filling a position for a Telecommute Utilization Management Medical Review Nurse in Jacksonville.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Evaluate members in the Acute Hospital, LTAC, Acute Inpatient Rehab and/or Skilled Nursing Facility
- Participate in the weekly case review
- Plan, implement, coordinate and monitor care coordination activities
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Occasional travel within the State of Florida
- Current Florida RN license
- 2+ years of recent clinical experience in a Hospital, LTAC, Rehab, SNF setting
- Experience in Utilization Review, Discharge Planning or Case Management
- Experience with the Healthcare industry and Managed Care
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and multiple computer applications
