Job Summary

A health insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Utilization Management Nurse.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Providing the best and most appropriate treatment, care or services for members
• Coordinating and communicating with providers, members, or other parties
• Facilitating optimal care and treatment

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Travel no more than 5%
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the appropriate state with no disciplinary action
• 3 - 5 years of Medical Surgery, Heart, Lung or Critical Care Nursing experience
• Previous experience in utilization management using interqual
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
• Ability to work independently under general instructions and with a team
