Job Summary
A health and wellness company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Utilization Review Physician Occupational Medicine Consultant in Tyler.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Telephonically contacting providers and interacts with other health professionals
- Returning cases in a timely manner with clear concise and complete rationales and documented criteria
- Reviewing medical files and provides recommendations
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Meets with Physician Review Medical Director to discuss quality of care and credentialing
- Attends orientation and training
- Must be in active medical practice to perform appeals
- Current, unrestricted clinical license(s)
- Board certified MD, DO, with an excellent understanding of network services and managed care
- Board certification is required for MD or DO reviewer
- Post-graduate experience in direct patient care
