Job Summary
A healthcare staffing and recruiting firm is filling a position for a Telecommute Utilization Review RN Manager.
Must be able to:
- Directthe business processes and operations for all levels of inpatient management for Commercial and Public Plans lines of business
- Oversee utilization review and discharge planning for acute inpatient, LTAC, rehabilitation and skilled nursing services
- Ensure initiatives are on schedule and within budget
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field required
- 7+ years’ experience in Utilization Review/Utilization Management for a Managed Care Organization
- 3+ years' management experience, including hiring and supervising at least 10 direct/indirect reports
- Track record of achieving goals and delivering bottom line results
- Excellent working knowledge of managed care operations and compliance with CMS, NCQA, URAC, and DOI requirements
