Job Summary

A learning platform company has a current position open for a Telecommute UX Design Head in Austin.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing design processes and systems to be used across all variations of our software products
  • Establishing and enforcing visual & UX design direction for our software products
  • Building, managing and coaching a new design team

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must be able to travel to Chicago for quarterly team meetings
  • Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop or like experience
  • 7+ years of experience in a Graphic Design or Visual Design role, either in-house or agency
  • Experience working with HTML/CSS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Interface Design, User Experience Design, Graphic Design or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in UX design, UI design, information architect or similar role
