Job Summary
A mortgage company has a current position open for a Telecommute VA Lender Appraisal Processing Program and Staff Appraisal Reviewer Underwriter.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Reviewing loans and issue an underwriting decision in compliance
- Analyzing the credit-worthiness, collateral, accuracy of Total Scorecard
- Communicating decision (approval, suspense, denial) on loans to appropriate parties
Qualifications Include:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in FHA and Conventional Underwriting
- Must have Direct Endorsement (CHUMS I.D.)
- A VA/LAPP (Lender Appraisal Processing Program) is required
- Must be up-to-date with all relevant mortgagee letters, specifically ones released since 01/2008
- Must be actively underwriting FHA loans for the past 24 months
- Knowledge of Investor Guidelines, Product Delivery, and AUS engines is required
