Job Summary
A technology company has a current position open for a Telecommute Vehicle Security Tester in Plano.
Must be able to:
- Perform analysis on vehicle components and full-scale vehicle testing
- Test remediation strategies for effectiveness
- Use various techniques to find and exploit vulnerabilities on all exposed attack surfaces
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Experience using various penetration assessment methodologies and approaches to accomplish exploitation
- A minimum of three years' experience performing sercurity focused work with embedded systems, vehicles, or custom linux environment
- A strong understanding of one or more common programming languages
- A passion for exploring hardware technologies for vulnerabilities, exploits, and loopholes
- Experience reverse engineering applications and firmware
- Experience with industry-standard security testing tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, CobaltStrike, etc.
