Job Summary
A video streaming company has an open position for a Telecommute Video Streaming Communications and Publicity Vice President.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing, managing, and executing earned events and awards strategy
- Developing proactive and reactive communications strategies to address issues that could impact the company's vision
- Devising news angles to coordinate response to incoming press queries as well as editorial calendar opportunities
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or
- Equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of proven communications experience in corporate/executive communications
- Strong media relations experience and relationships not only with traditional journalists but with emerging outlets
- Expert knowledge of the data, ad tech and privacy industry
- Ability to deliver high impact strategic external communication plans and results
