Job Summary
An information technology company is in need of a Telecommute Video Technology Software Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Write, review and maintain code primarily in Ruby and Ruby on Rails and Javascript
- Collaborate closely with Product Design to build new features
- Evaluate and recommend solutions, and guide team decision making
Position Requirements Include:
- 5 or more years of experience developing production web software using Ruby, Javascript or similar languages
- Ability to gather, analyze, debug and fix problems that occur with live production systems
- Troubleshooting skills across network, application, caching, queuing, load-balancing, storage
- Understanding of monitoring, observability, continuous integration & deployment
- Demonstrated design skills for large scale and highly available cloud services or distributed systems
- Excellent analytical skills as well as communication skills both verbal and written
