Job Summary
This position primarily requires working evenings, weekends and holidays.
We have a great opportunity for a Sr. Corporate Travel Consultant. This position works evenings, weekends and holiday shifts. Please note that Saturday and Sunday shifts are required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
GDS' used are Apollo, Worldspan and Sabre. To be considered for an interview, you must have experience in at least 2 of the GDS' listed.
Complete domestic and/or international travel arrangements for clients which may include air, hotel, ground transportation, and rail
Support one or more accounts
Interact with traveler or travel arranger and provides 1st level of support for customer service.
Ensure compliance of a clients travel policy while utilizing agency preferred vendors to maximize profit
Adhere to company standards in delivering customer service including telephone and email etiquette, and follow prescribed customer service escalation procedure.
Follow company standards regarding procedures, utilization of tools, productivity, accuracy of work, and attendance
Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative working environment
Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of corporate travel consultant experience
Ability to create domestic multi-segment, multi-destination itineraries
Must demonstrate travel industry knowledge
Proficiency in at least 2 of the 3 GDS' (Apollo, Worldspan, Sabre)
Ability to meet and exceed required performance standards
Excellent customer service skills required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Minimum knowledge of Outlook skills and basic Microsoft platform
