Job Summary

An insurance company is in need of a Telecommute Vision Provider External Relations Representative.

Must be able to:

  • Function as the first point of elevation for provider issue resolution
  • Manage sophisticated and/or strategic relationships with assigned provider groups
  • Act as liaison for provider issues

Required Skills:

  • Ability to travel up to 50% and reliable transportation to commute to provider offices across the District of Columbia
  • 3+ years' of vision industry experience
  • 3+ years' experience in customer service or public relations
  • Bachelor's degree; or experience may substitute for education if responsibilities directly relate to the essential job functions
  • Strong research, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate well with providers and office staff both verbally and in writing
