Job Summary

A healthcare company is seeking a Telecommute VM Linux IO Engineering Principal.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and maintaining standards for all z/VM and Linux software configurations
  • Consulting with management and technical staff on other related mainframe software and hardware initiatives
  • Working independently to determine mainframe z/VM and Linux guests software upgrade requirements

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years experience with RHEL administration duties on zLinux
  • 3+ years experience in z/VM running Linux instances
  • Experience with development and support of Linux guest cloning processes
  • Expertise in performance and capacity managed in z/VM environment
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
