Job Summary

A technical interview company has an open position for a Telecommute WebSphere Administrator.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Evaluating the right WebSphere Administrator for our clients
  • Professionally interacting with your co-workers for conveying technical ideas
  • Selecting the right candidate who could differentiate our client’s business from its competitors

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience in providing software administration for IBM WebSphere MQ, Message Broker, WebSphere Application Server, HTTP Server, and Apache Tomcat software environments
  • Experience in installing, configuring, and administering IBM HTTP Server with a strong understanding of its configuration settings
  • Knowledge of and experience with data security, backup, recovery, and restart techniques
  • Experience with troubleshooting WebSphere, IBM HTTP Server and Java application problems
  • Knowledge of Java, DNS, LDAP, Web services, WebSphere, Shell Scripting and of Java architecture
  • Written and verbal English proficiency
