Job Summary
An interactive marketing firm is in need of a Telecommute WordPress Front End Developer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Working closely with designers, other developers, project managers and strategists, to build WordPress websites
- Setting up installs, writing code, customizing themes, setting up custom post types, page builders, launch sites, and everything in between
- Contributing to project strategy, helping create reusable codebases, and teaching (and learning from) your team members
Qualifications for this position include:
- A minimum of a few years of experience
- Extensive knowledge of WordPress, including deep knowledge of popular page builders (Beaver Builder, Elementor)
- Strong ability with HTML5 & CSS3, and experience with PHP and Javascript, particularly as they pertain to WordPress
- General technical knowledge of SEO, accessibility, and performance optimization
- A decent eye for UI/UX best practices
- Ability to work on a few “big” projects at once, and also pitch in with other odds and ends as they arise
