Job Summary
A construction insurance company is filling a position for a Telecommute Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing front-line customer focused handling of lost time complex claims for the Florida market
- Conducting all aspects of coverage, investigation, negotiation, and resolution within established best practices
- Overseeing litigated claims and manages litigation expenses within budget
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Some overnight travel is required for training and company events
- BA/BS Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and claims experience
- Minimum 5 years of workers compensation claims handling experience
- Valid driver's license is required for occasional business travel
- FL Adjuster License required; adjusting experience in SC, VA, GA, NC, MD, DC, TN or MS is a plus
