Job Summary

A construction insurance company is filling a position for a Telecommute Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing front-line customer focused handling of lost time complex claims for the Florida market
  • Conducting all aspects of coverage, investigation, negotiation, and resolution within established best practices
  • Overseeing litigated claims and manages litigation expenses within budget

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Some overnight travel is required for training and company events
  • BA/BS Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and claims experience
  • Minimum 5 years of workers compensation claims handling experience
  • Valid driver's license is required for occasional business travel
  • FL Adjuster License required; adjusting experience in SC, VA, GA, NC, MD, DC, TN or MS is a plus
  • All other requirements necessary for this position
