Job Summary

An education company has a current position open for a Telecommute Writing and Learning Specialist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Completing quality assurance checks on paper reviews and chat interactions
• Creating new instructional content (e.g. web pages, webinar presentations, podcasts, workshops, sample papers, and course-specific learning objects) for undergraduate, graduate, doctoral students, and faculty
• Working one-on-one with certain student populations

Qualifications for this position include:

• Minimal travel could be required
• Master's degree required
• Prior knowledge of Writing Center pedagogy
• Demonstrable experience with teaching writing online
• Significant experience creating teaching materials
• Must be knowledgeable in using technology, and proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word and PowerPoint), virtual presentation and meeting programs, Grammarly
