Job Summary
A health sciences university is seeking a Telecommute Writing Center Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, develop, and supervise writing tutors
- Design, review, and approval of self-paced tutorials
- Collaborate on budgeting for the center
Qualifications for this position include:
- Travel required
- Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or Masters degree in fine arts, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of one year supervisory experience
- Expertise in college level academic support services
- Experienced in managing and working with staff from a distance
