Job Summary
An aerospace engineering company is seeking a Telecommuted Aerospace Software and Automation Engineer Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of advanced simulations for a diverse set of applications
- Develop, validate and deploy advanced simulation capabilities pertaining to aircraft and ground segment avionics
- Help to cultivate and develop departmental expertise with avionics and avionics simulation
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with and integrating aircraft avionics
- Experience working with ARINC 429, ARINC 664 and ARINC 708
- Experience setting up and working with HIL/SIL simulations and test environments
- Familiarity with aircraft systems, aircraft dynamics and aircraft operations
