Job Summary

A home agent community has an open position for a Telecommuting Air Ticketing GDS Agent.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Taking inbound and outbound calls, emails and live chat to schedule air, hotel, and car reservations using GDS
  • Being responsible for exchanges, refunds and offline bookings
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Must have experience in a GDS system, Sabre and Amadeus
  • Must be comfortable with handling frequent schedule changes and correction of airline mis-connections
  • Must have a positive and professional demeanor, with responsive customer service to provide white glove service
  • Must be able to show excellent verbal communication skills to handle inbound calls
  • Must be able to speak with callers while navigating through multiple systems, entering vital information
  • 3 years experience as Travel Agent or Airline Booking Agent
