Job Summary

A technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Aircraft Software Quality Engineer 4 in Arlington.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Designing and implementing automated regression and integration tests
  • Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities
  • Educating and training developers and other SQAs in writing quality automated tests

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience in verbal and written communication with peers and non-technical users
  • Practical experience coding in JavaScript (ECMAScript 6+)
  • Experience with writing automated UI tests using tools like Selenium, Webdriver.io and BrowserStack
  • Experience with writing automated API tests using tools like Postman, supertest.js, and mocha.js
  • Experience in Agile software development methodologies, in particular Kanban practices
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
