Job Summary
An elearning company has a current position open for a Telecommuting American Sign Language Teacher.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Analyzing student progress and provide appropriate instruction
- Conducting classes in the language of instruction
- Administering appropriate district curriculum
Qualifications for this position include:
- Demonstrate foreign language proficiency at the Advanced-Low level based on the proficiency scale created by ACTFL
- Demonstrate knowledge, skill, and ability to provide instruction in a secondary virtual classroom
- Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- Must hold the appropriate foreign language endorsement, which matches the assignment
- Must possess a teaching license issued by a state department of education
