Job Summary

A non-profit animal rights organization has an open position for a Telecommuting Animal Free Research Associate.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Independently research and interpret issues related to replacing animal testing
  • Secure and lead formal meetings with companies and government agencies
  • Represent the organization in dealings with media

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Ability to travel and present at conferences, formal meetings, and workshops
  • Masters or PhD degree in toxicology or closely related field
  • Knowledge of animal-testing issues, scientific terminology, and regulatory requirements
  • Support of animal rights philosophy
  • Exceptional public-speaking, writing and research skills
  • Must be at least 21 with 3 years of driving experience and a satisfactory driving record
