A healthcare company is in need of a Telecommuting Appeals and Grievances Clinical Specialist in New York City.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Ensuring that appeals and grievances are properly classified
- Processing appeals and grievances in accordance with internal company policy
- Entering data into appropriate medical management services
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience in clinical practice with experience in appeals & grievances
- Understanding of Utilization Review Guidelines
- Ability to work independently on several computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to manage large caseloads and effectively work in a fast-paced environment
