Job Summary
A provider of physician advisory and revenue cycle services has a current position open for a Telecommuting Appeals Operational Analyst.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Assist with preparation and monitoring of denial inventory and the reconciliation to client workflow systems
- Assist in resolving escalated workflow or reconciliation issues from clients or internal PAS members
- Assist in development of procedures for triage, production, reconciliation and follow up of accounts
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of financial analysis, collection billing or follow up experience
- Excellent operational knowledge of revenue cycle including billing, cash posting, follow up and payor denials
- Detail oriented and organized with good time management skills
- Possess analytical and problem solving abilities
- Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Word, Outlook
