Job Summary

A technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Application Platform Sales Specialist.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Gaining the trust of senior IT and business executives within key accounts
  • Working with the enterprise sales teams to plan the overall middleware strategy within a set of defined accounts
  • Guiding the customer from their initial adoption of basic application server and hybrid cloud technology

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must be able to travel
  • 4 years of experience focused on enterprise middleware like Red Hat JBoss Middleware, IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, MuleSoft, TIBCO, and Apigee
  • 8 years of experience in a solutions sales role
  • Background in consultative customer engagement with a middleware provider or on the sales team of a middleware reseller
  • Broad technical experience with enterprise middleware technologies
  • Balance of strategic and tactical skills
