Job Summary
A communication service provider needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting ASL Fluent Residential Division Account Manager in Newark.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing onsite and remote support to assigned customers following the initial installation of products and services
- Focusing on increasing customer bases through new customer acquisitions
- Developing a network in the deaf and hard of hearing community by creating a pipeline of opportunities
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel, including out of state travel is expected
- American Sign Language (ASL) proficiency required
- Knowledge of the deaf culture, and familiarity with products and services that support the communications needs of deaf people
- Knowledge of relay services, products, and relay systems and how they function
- Skilled in using specialized software related to departmental operations including database, Internet, spreadsheet, instant messaging, presentation, and word processing programs
- Excellent human relations and outreach skills including the ability to interact with people of varying communications levels in the deaf and hard of hearing communities
