Job Summary

An aviation company is filling a position for a Telecommuting Avionics Sales Manager in Los Angeles.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading business development of new accounts from prospecting through to contract negotiation
  • Developing business plans and strategies to drive sales in the Western US
  • Keeping current on all competitive activities as well as any new entrants to the marketplace

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Must be able to attend regular sales/business unit meetings as appropriate
  • Ten or more years of sales or related industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience
  • Track record of personally winning $1m+ sales deals in a competitive environment
  • A clear understanding of passenger & baggage processing plus future trends, including an understanding of Departure Control Systems
