Job Summary
An aviation company is filling a position for a Telecommuting Avionics Sales Manager in Los Angeles.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Leading business development of new accounts from prospecting through to contract negotiation
- Developing business plans and strategies to drive sales in the Western US
- Keeping current on all competitive activities as well as any new entrants to the marketplace
Qualifications for this position include:
- Must be able to attend regular sales/business unit meetings as appropriate
- Ten or more years of sales or related industry experience
- Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience
- Track record of personally winning $1m+ sales deals in a competitive environment
- A clear understanding of passenger & baggage processing plus future trends, including an understanding of Departure Control Systems
