Job Summary

A technology company is filling a position for a Telecommuting Back End Development Security Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Designing and coding a novel way to detect and mitigate a low-level security vulnerability
• Prototyping new ideas, test new open-source security tools
• Helping other engineering teams rely on our security infrastructure

Required Skills:

• Experience beyond basic usage of orchestration platforms and container runtimes
• High level of competency in cloud automation technologies such as Terraform
• Strong understanding of OS and Linux internals
• Experience in core project languages (Golang / Python / Ruby)
• Experience deploying and managing logging and alerting at large scale
