Job Summary
An IT and service company is in need of a Telecommuting Big Data Developer in Atlanta.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Reviewing ETL solution design, development process, migration and deployment and other support activities
- Performing hands-on design and development within Big Data and BI technology platforms
- Leading team and coordinate multiple external teams on planning and execution of production jobs
Qualifications for this position include:
- Work from home twice/week
- Experience with Hadoop and related technologies using Cloudera distribution
- Hands-on development experience with Teradata, Hadoop, and Informatica
- Experience designing solutions to business problems with Big Data technologies
- Strong delivery/execution track record in the ETL/BI and data warehousing environments, good understanding of business operations
