Job Summary

An information and technology services company is seeking a Telecommuting Big Data IOT Enterprise Sales Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Proactively on-boarding, training, driving customer adoption, and providing technical support
• Managing customers in a technical capacity
• Providing detailed product information, installation and configuration support to prospects

Qualifications Include:

• Must be able to conduct in-depth product demonstrations to prospective clients
• 3 + years experience implementing or supporting data warehouse and business intelligence technologies
• 3 + years experience with core infrastructure technologies including operating systems and relational databases (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Comfort working with a data integration tool (ETL)
• An understanding of Hadoop HDFS and MapReduce framework internals
• Working knowledge of web application development tools such as CSS, HTML, JBDC, JavaScript, SQL, and XML
• Exposure to Hadoop development components and to NoSQL database technologies like MongoDB
