A computer software company is seeking a Telecommuting Bilingual Jamaican Patois English Audio Medical Interpreter.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Participating in ongoing quality assurance and call monitoring programs
- Adhering to interpreter ethical standards and procedural requirements specific to interpreting context
- Providing effective audioremote interpreting service for consumers
Qualifications for this position include:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of audio medical interpreting experience
- Must have a strong aptitude in customer service and medical interpreting
- Fluent and have strong verbal communication skills in both the source and target language
- Extensive knowledge of code of ethics and standards of practice
- Familiarity with the medical profession and its privacy laws (HIPAA) as well as other state and federals laws applied to medical interpreting
