Job Summary
An educational nonprofit organization is filling a position for a Telecommuting Bilingual or ESL Educational Instruction Site Manager in New York City.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team of teacher coaches
- Support the design and implementation of a high-quality teacher training program
- Work with district partners to ensure that program participants are receiving effective support
Position Requirements Include:
- Requires being on-site in New York City multiple days per week, and travel up to 40% annually is required
- Bilingual or ESL experience is required
- A strong education background and instructional skill set with at least four years of K-12 teaching experience, preferably in a high-need school
- Strong familiarity with the Common Core State Standards
- The ability to work effectively with others at all levels of an organization and to consistently display a high level of professionalism in all interactions
