Job Summary
A university is in need of a Telecommuting Biology Adjunct Faculty Member.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Following all course policies and meet expectations according to established faculty guidelines, including timely grading of assignments, tests, papers, and final grade submission
- Communicating with students in a timely manner
- Using the Blackboard notification system to communicate with students and check it regularly to assist and support students
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Commitment to the integration of Christian faith and learning
- Master’s or Doctoral degree, and five to seven years of documented work experience in a field of study related to desired area of teaching
- Appropriate certification and/or licensure may be required to teach some courses (i.e. CPA, Project Management, Nursing, Education)
- Three to five years of higher education teaching experience preferred
- Willing to become proficient in Blackboard, Google Hangouts, and other multimedia or software programs
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and integration of faith and learning required for CAGS affiliate faculty
