Job Summary
A health care and health insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Board Certified Reviewing Medical Director in the Southeast Region.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Conduct admission review, post-discharge and discharge planning
- Develop, maintain and assure compliance with physician review policies and procedures
- Support collaborative relationships with physicians
Required Skills:
- Travel: Yes, 10 % of the Time
- Board Certified in an approved ABMS Medical Specialty
- MD or DO degree
- A current and unrestricted license in at least one jurisdiction
- Five years clinical experience
- Technical ability with Microsoft Applications and other computer based programs
