Job Summary
An education technology company has an open position for a Telecommuting Book List Educator in Wakefield.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Reading and scanning books for important topics, themes, literary and instructional elements based on a preset (closed) taxonomy
- Writing content for our online platform that increases ease of title search and discovery
- Working 10-15 hours per week
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Proficient in common technical tools (Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Dropbox) required
- 3+ years teaching or school-related experience, which may include curriculum planner or literacy coach
- Education professional with knowledge of topics and skills covered in K-12 classrooms
- Outstanding writing, proofreading and editing skills
- Very responsive to emails, calls and other forms of communication
