Job Summary
A company focused exclusively on employee benefits is seeking a Telecommuting Business Development Executive.
Must be able to:
- Identify, prospect and close new business via referrals, networking sources, and organic prospect meetings
- Work closely with BDA’s and/or marketing team to strategically nurture and cultivate prospects
- Close sales and meet or exceed aggressive quarterly and annual revenue goals
Qualifications for this position include:
- Attends association events and meetings based on targeted verticals
- 5+ years experience with lead and sales generation
- 3+ years’ sales experience in employee benefits, insurance, brokerage, or related field
- Knowledge of group health, ancillary and benefits administration products
- Must possess the ability to forecast opportunities and penetrate new business on a daily basis
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
