Job Summary
A software company is in need of a Telecommuting Business Development Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Develop relationships with new clients
- Monitor and track progress of new leads through to closing
- Hunt new business opportunities outside our existing client base
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Travel with operations team when needed to close new business (roughly 20-30% of the time)
- Experience developing new business opportunities
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated sales professional with 3-5 years of publishing industry experience
- Knowledge of digital technologies and learning solutions that now complement textbooks
- College degree
