Job Summary

A publishing company has an open position for a Telecommuting Business Development Specialist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Conducting targeted outreach to prospects to secure meetings
  • Identifying K-12 decision makers and contact information for prospects via phone or internet searches
  • Following-up on eLearning leads generated by marketing, sales, and professional learning

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must be able to attend meetings in-person
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience
  • Four-year college degree
  • Demonstrated record of success in academic or professional background
  • Excellent computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proven project management and presentation skills
