Job Summary

An information technology company has an open position for a Telecommuting Ceph Storage Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Resolve complex customer problems
  • Analyse and participate on upstream development
  • Maintain clear, technical, and concise bug documentation

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Be able to travel internationally up to 10% of work time
  • A minimum of 5+ years or equivalent experience as software engineer
  • Strong experience with Ceph object storage and architecture
  • Experience with OpenStack and/or other Cloud technologies
  • Strong development level experience with C, C++, and Python
