• Providing diabetes education and support on the phone with patients
• Acting as an outstanding patient motivator
• Helping to improve adherence and health outcomes

Required Skills:

• Current Certificate of Diabetes Education (with accompanying clinical degree)
• Comfortable using technology (electronic medical records, social media, Microsoft Office, etc)
• Flexibility to recognize different patient needs
• Ability to adapt to using different communication approaches to best serve the patient
