Job Summary

A financial company is filling a position for a Telecommuting Certified Financial Planner.

Must be able to:

  • Facilitate workshops, webcasts, 1 on 1's, and phone-based financial coaching using a proprietary methodology designed to help individuals change their financial habits and behaviors
  • Develop new products, services, curriculum, and continually innovate existing products and services
  • Analyze data and experiences to write articles and develop research on trends in personal finance, which are published by financial planning and HR publications and utilized by a large range of professionals and individuals

Position Requirements Include:

  • Ability to travel (up to 50%) to deliver workshops and onsite financial planning sessions
  • CFP certification - MUST be current and active
  • 10 years minimum industry experience (this is a firm minimum requirement)
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of financial planning
  • Consultative approach - active listening and assessment of needs, compassion and understanding, ability to change approach based on individual needs, and communicate in terms people can relate to and understand
  • Ability to gather research and compile data and information in a clear and usable format
