Job Summary

A healthcare company has a current position open for a Telecommuting Certified Outpatient Medical Coder.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Assigning appropriate modifiers when required
• Assigning ICD-10-CM diagnoses and CPT-4, HCPCS procedure codes upon review of clinical documentation
• Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT-4, and HCPCS

Qualifications for this position include:

• Experience with multiple EHR, Encoder and CAC systems
• Must have at least one of the following coding certifications: CCS, CIC, CPC, RHIT, RHIA
• Minimum of 2 years' outpatient coding experience
