Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Telecommuting Charge Entry Specialist in Nashville.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Balancing charge summary to tickets keyed before finalizing/updating charges in the system
- Entering charges into practice management system
- Receiving and reviewing charge documents for accuracy and coordinates
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Able to extract information from medical records, operative notes, hospital admissions, consults, progress notes
- Can assist with identifying quality issues with registration and scheduling activities
- Minimum of 1 year of coding, billing, and/or charge entry experience in the healthcare field is required
