Job Summary
A computer software company has an open position for a Telecommuting Cloud Developer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Implementing new features and improve the resilience and scalability of the existing cloud and container portfolio
- Automating operations for reuse across the worlds largest companies
- Understanding and operating cloud and container technology
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively in English over email, IRC, and in person
- Extensive knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies
- Engineering degree, preferably in computer science or software engineering
- Python software development experience
- Practical knowledge of Linux networking, routing, and firewalls
- Hands-on experience administering Linux servers for personal use
