Job Summary

A staffing agency has an open position for a Telecommuting Cloud Engineer in New York City.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Design, build and integrate new features and enhancements
  • Engage in bug-fixing work across a wide variety of components of the Ubuntu platform
  • Participate in strong engineering process through code and architectural review

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Strong experience in Ubuntu/Debian system administration
  • Excellent Python programming experience
  • Experience in developing against APIs and using SDKs
  • Experience with DevOps automation, tools, and methodologies
  • Experience with public clouds, cloud topologies, and technologies
  • Degree level education, preferably in a technology field
