A healthcare company is filling a position for a Telecommuting Coding Audit Educator.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Perform physician and coder audits to verify accuracy of submitted codes
- Use appropriate code books, tools, and automated coding systems
- Summarize audit findings into reports
Position Requirements Include:
- High School Diploma
- 3+ years of experience
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist Physician (CCS-P)
- Computer skill and 10-key typing proficiency
- Computer software skills with MS Office products
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
