Job Summary

A healthcare company has an open position for a Telecommuting Coding Specialist in Cincinnati.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Coding claims directly from the medical record/operative report according to coding guidelines
• Accurating and timely completion of charge review work queues as assigned
• Assisting with tracking and trending coding issues and research of denied claims

Qualifications Include:

• AAPC or AHIMA Coding Certification (i.e. CPC-A, CPC, CCS-P)
• Minimum of 1 year coding experience or successful completion of coding curriculum
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology, IDC-10, CPT, and HCPCS. PC and Computer application knowledge and experience
• Excellent skills of organization, communication, and time management
• Excellent skills of financial analysis, written policy, trouble shooting and problem solving
