Job Summary
A software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Commodity Manager.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Monitoring overall utilization of SCMC strategic sourcing contracts for targeted commodities
- Creating and managing implementation of strategic agreements
- Identifying commodity opportunities and lead commodity team
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability/willingness to travel up to 25%
- Minimum of 5 years directly-applicable experience in Strategic Sourcing and using leveraged multi-site agreements
- Bachelor's degree in a Business, Technical, or Scientific related field is required
- US citizenship in order to obtain and maintain US Dept of Energy security clearance
- Established ability to manage multiple complex projects at once
- Knowledge of government contracting requirements including a working understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
